Why is a  CPA firm in downtown Santa Rosa also called Larkfield Tax Service?

 

The original Larkfield Tax Service was started over 30 years ago and served the greater Larkfield, Wikiup and Mark West areas of Santa Rosa all that time.  About 20 years ago the firm was purchased by a CPA who decided to keep the name because it was so well known in the area.  Then when the current owner, also a CPA, bought the business 10 years ago, she too made the decision to keep the original name for the same reason.

 

In August 2010 the business was moved to a downtown Santa Rosa location and the name Larkfield Tax Service no longer seemed a good fit.  Gradually the name will be phased out, although most long-term clients of the firm will always think of it as Larkfield Tax Service.
